Was clearing my emails & i guess not many really spend time now to read or forward meaningful emails. Only a handful and i do appreciate those who did and glad i stop to give some a read.
I was reading one which i've forward to many. Cos it made me pause and ponder. It's an email about God.
Though i'm a buddhist, i respect all religions and that email did hit a chord in me.
I'm sure many had ask yourself many times why you're on this earth for?
Is it to fulfill a to-do list that u're thrown to do on earth?
Or is discovering who you are(developing as a person) more important than what you do?
"What gain is it for anyone to win the whole world and forfeit his soul? (Matthew 16:26)"
There's something i wish to share with everyone. I read it somewhere and it's stuck to me ever since. i'll throw myself this question when a big decision i have to make arise when i'm stuck :" If u live each day as if it were your last... will u still make this decision?"
Only when you're near death, when u're thrown to your brink, exposed, what matters to you most will remain.
