Do u love with your heart or with your mind?
My friend wrote me a letter and yes, some people just love more using one more than the other.
The perfect situation is able to love with your heart but we don't live in a perfect world. We live in a world where everyone has to take responsibilities in their life, their decisions. Love is blind yes, when u allow your heart to rule over your mind till there's no logic at all that u even lost yourself. But it's a beautiful feeling such that many allow themselves to be lost in that beautiful fairytale world.
People in the past do not even have a choice, cos women are match-make even when they're babies perhaps. Yes we're entering into a new generation where women are more educated and have more voice in this world. But sadly, the issue of match-making and choice of life partners do not lie in their hands for some. The recent Straits' Times did a wonderful article on a few women of different races, an indian and a sikh girl who respected their parents decision. And took a gumble with who they'll be with the rest of their lives.
Do Men and Women love the same way? i believe not. Each gender has their own responsibilities before and after marriage and hence, their choice of life partners will follow perhaps. With this in mind, sometimes we do have to use our mind to love as well. Especially for women who's intending to form a family, tend to find a stable nice caretaker for her offsprings next time, u have to find someone u feel secure who can protect and care for you and your child both financially & emotionally the next life. For this, women can't just love by heart, sometimes she have to love using their mind as well. For herself, for her child next time. If u know the direction i'm heading.
It's really so hard to be a mother. It takes so much that more an more women either choose not to have babies of have 1child. And perhaps the reason why more women (some of my friend as well) choose to remain single, cos u rather trust yourself with taking care of your life than handing your life over to another and risk of getting into a nightmare. It's a gumble of trust u put to the men u choose. He can either give u happiness and forever care, or he can put u through a bumpy ride or betrayal that women are usually brought to face in tears.
Love can conquer everything?Everything? Perhaps that is only in Drama serials, in a marriage shared life, u need more than pure love to sustain it in the long run to put everything together through the long road ahead.

Sorry to be pessimistic, the joy of love is wonderful but the buckets of tears over-rules so much more usually...
I applaud all married couples...to have the guts to take the leap of faith.
