Longing...

Dwindling fire,
Longing for the heat,
Wanting to rekindle,
yet dying slowly.

The burning fire
so uncontainable once,
now fighting with the wind,
darkness grew.
Where is the bright flame.
Lighting through the night.
Slowly & weakly,
engulfed by the dark.
