With the recent economic slowdown, Christmas seems to arrive earlier with xmas sales, decorations coming up beginning of november or earlier.
This year Changi Airport chose the theme of Disney for the Christmas celebration. If u're driving towards the airport, in front of the control tower, u'll be able to see various Disney characters models erected along the highway with christmas light ups at all 3 terminals

I like Christmas seasons esp if it's raining or cold weather, but i never really had a chance to celebrate a true white christmas with snow...
this year, i'll be spending Christmas in Singapore i.e, i don't think i'll be celebrating it. Spore is too crowded. I rather hide in my cosy 'shelter' then stuck outside...So sorry, i love singapore but it's just gettin too crowded for my liking... 'people phobia'... oops

I wish i can see the Loi Krathong in thailand someday... i love candle lights... they give a sense of calm & light of hope. I happen to find an english version of the Loi Krathong song at this website http://www.loikrathong.net/EN/index.php have a look if u haven heard the Loi Krathong song before. Yes, one day i'll go and see..

Today ajarn dance the Loi krathong and open the music for us to see in class. She's a really nice & humorous teacher who've stayed in Singapore for many years. She now knows how to speak dialects, chinese, english and her native thai. And she still returns back to krungtheep once in a while. Indeed, i can't agree more with her that thailand is really a nice place where people smiles naturally at you, food is endless, things are cheap. Just that politically and economically, thailand still seems quite unstable. In fact, the last time i went back krungtheep a yr back, i feel like it's so similar to singapore cos of the MRT train system. I like when a country has ease of transport where i can go anywhere any time by public transport with no problem. Cos i can't drive. I always crash even when i play daytona when i'm young hahah.
