Deepavali has gone by. Below is a picture taken of one of their tradition at the National Museum. Look at the colourful intricate designs.
I was going out the other day and cutting through a block of HDB flat. This Malay wedding decorations caught my eyes. It's stunning. Why does Chinese have to have such wrong concept of having expensive ravishing dinner at 5star hotel and saving up for 1-2yrs just for 1night? When it can be done in a simple way yet achieving the same goal. It's beautiful isn't it? if i didn't tell you, you think this is underneath a HDB block?
I guess the older generations or some now, saving face is more important than anything else.
